The Hagenbeckstraße residential complex was built in 1961 in a traditional residential style in a large garden setting. In 1995, one floor was added to the complex. In 2010/11, the complex underwent a complete energy renovation and the rooms, kitchens, bathrooms and common areas were thoroughly modernized.
The facility has a total of 230 places, of which 211 are furnished and 19 unfurnished. 204 rooms are corridor communities, 26 places are in apartments with pantry and private shower bath.
